Reported deflation of the economy saw Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng attempting to quell fears and drive home the point that this was not the result of any weakening in consumer demand. We speak to Daniel Moss on the bigger issues for the economy and by extension the markets in Malaysia.

What deflation you are talking about?
Just because houses are not selling due to low income earned by those young freshies newly graduated from university?

Compare consumables like Nestle products, milk powder, soap powder, and hawker centres in shopping centres, you will find everything goes up in price immediately after CNY...........
