06:07 - The Penang South Reclamation Scheme plans to reclaim land and construct three man-made islands. The state government plans to raise 70 billion ringgit from projects on the new islands. Beside the reclamation, out of RM 70billion, about RM 46 billion will be used to build light rail transit (LRT) line, the construction of Pan Island Link 1 (PIL1) and other supporting infrastructure projects under the Penang Transport Master Plan.
