If you pay close attention to the glass door whenever you're in a bank, you would see a sticker with the words "PIDM" on it. PIDM is "Perbadanan Insurans Deposit Malaysia" and their main reason for existence is to protect our deposits, in the event that something unfortunate happens to our banks.
