The Company is a packaging products provider with in-house manufacturing of corrugated paper packaging products, including cartons, protective packaging and paper pallets. The Company focuses on providing packaging for industrial and consumer durable goods packaging. Its industrial packaging is engaged in the packaging of parts and components for various stages of the manufacturing process, including metal, plastic, electronic and electrical (E&E) parts and components. Its consumer durable goods packaging involves in the containment and protection of finished goods, such as television and microwave ovens, for handling, storage and transportation. The Company's subsidiaries include Dai Suwon Manufacturing Sdn Bhd, Dai Suwon Packaging Sdn Bhd and Kaisung Industries Sdn Bhd.

As disclosed in the Prospectus, the Group plans to expand its operational facilities through expanding its operation to Penang and establishing a new factory in Klang, Selangor. The new factory in Klang Selangor will also serve as a corporate head office and to increase the Group’s operational efficiency and productivity. The Group plans to expand to Penang, Malaysia as there are many electrical and electronics manufacturing companies located there. In conjunction with the expansion plan above, the Group plans to acquire new machinery in order to automate parts of its production lines as well as introducing new products such as honeycomb board. The Group intends to acquire 2 units of honeycomb board machines to produce honeycomb core and honeycomb board where to expand the product offering of the Group. The Group also plans to acquire 6-colour flexographic printing machine to print more vibrant colour of images on corrugated cartons as compared to existing 3-colour flexographic printing machine. Furthermore, the Group has set up a packaging design and innovative centre to facilitate the Group’s front-end value-added services such as packaging design and space optimisation. Moving forward, the Group plans to expand its target markets to serve customers in the solar photovoltaic industry and medical devices industry as currently the Group mainly serves customers in the consumer durable electronic goods of the E&E industry. Based on the above, the Board of Directors (“Board”) is optimistic of the Group’s future prospects and expects the Group’s expansion plans to contribute positively to its financial performance in the future.

The loss before tax for the current financial quarter ended 31 March 2023 is mainly due to a oneoff non-recurring listing expenses amounting to RM3.03 million.

I just finish doing research on DSS. Looks like it is going to expand its capacity. The just announced quarter result is supposed to be profitable if excluding one time listing expenses. I would say at current price of 40.5 sen, the reward is much higher than the risk. Good luck!
