The Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief Tan Sri Azam Baki has revealed that he had willingly given his brother permission to buy shares using his share trading account, but that he has no benefits from the stocks. Following that, the Anti-Corruption Advisory Board said that they had found no criminal conduct in the case, which led Kepong MP Lim Lip Eng to call on the Securities Commission to conduct a full investigation. First, we discuss the implications of this case with a lawyer. And then, we get into how this might affect the public perception's of the MACC.
