Ogawa World Bhd has recorded a pre-tax profit of RM5.18 million for its fourth quarter ended June 30, 2010 up from RM3.72 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenue rose 13.6 per cent to RM47.70 million from RM42 million previously, it said in a statement today.
The improved performance in the fourth quarter was due mainly to higher sales achievement, higher gross profit margin and lower provision for doubtful debts, Ogawa World said.
For its financial year ended June 30, 2010, the company posted a
pre-tax profit of RM8.38 million as against a pre-tax loss of RM11.8 million for the previous year.
Revenue during the period increased by 21.3 per cent to RM155.95 million from RM128.55 million previously. -- Bernama
