Genting Malaysia Bhd rose to a 27-month high after New York State lawmakers granted its unit a 30-year license to install slot-machine-style video-lottery terminals at Aqueduct Racetrack in the borough of Queens.
The stock climbed 1.6 per cent to RM3.15 at 9:50 am local time in Kuala Lumpur trading, set for its highest close since June 4, 2008.
