Tenaga Nasional Bhd, Malaysia's biggest power producer, climbed 1 per cent to RM8.93, the most since September 13.
Tenaga will likely post a 22 per cent gain in earnings for the fiscal year ended August 31, bolstered by higher electricity sales, Credit Suisse Group AG said in a report today.
Tenaga, due to report earnings this month, has benefited from lower costs on its foreign debt after the ringgit's surge against the dollar, yen and euro, said Tan Ting Min, an analyst at Credit Suisse. - Bloomberg
