KUALA LUMPUR (April 17): Lembaga Tabung Haji has ceased to be a substantial shareholder of automation manufacturing and technology solutions provider Pentamaster Corp Bhd.
Tabung Haji sold 400,000 shares in Pentamaster last Friday (April 14), according to the group in a filing with the local bourse.
This trimmed the pilgrim fund’s stake in the group to 4.95%, from 5.02% previously.
While the transacted price was not disclosed, based on Pentamaster’s RM5.05 closing price last Friday, the block of shares was worth RM2.02 million.
Tabung Haji emerged as Pentamaster’s shareholder in April last year, after acquiring a 5.001% stake.
For the full financial year ended Dec 31, 2022, Pentamaster’s net profit increased to RM82.42 million from RM72.91 million, as full-year revenue rose to RM600.59 million from RM508.39 million for the previous year.
At Monday’s noon break, Pentamaster’s share price settled up three sen or 0.59% at RM5.08, valuing it at RM3.62 billion.
The counter has risen 11.16% year-to-date, and 51.64% over the past year.
