Dagang NeXchange Bhd said it has been awarded a one-year contract extension to manage the National Single Window for Trade Facilitation system through its wholly owned subsidiary Dagang Net Technologies Sdn Bhd until Aug 31, 2025.

KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 28): Dagang NeXchange Bhd (KL:DNEX) said it has been awarded a one-year contract extension by the government to manage the National Single Window (NSW) for Trade Facilitation system.

With this, DNeX through its wholly owned subsidiary Dagang Net Technologies Sdn Bhd will continue its role as the operator of the system until Aug 31, 2025. It has held the position since the system's inception in 2009.

The NSW for trade facilitation, which contributes 6.9% to DNeX Group’s revenue, streamlines trade processes in Malaysia — linking over 45,000 users, handles more than 100 million electronic transactions annually, and integrates with 36 permit-issuing agencies, 16 banks, and 167 customs stations, according to a statement from the group on Wednesday.

With 24/7 call centre support and a 99.9% system uptime, the NSW ensures seamless business operations for exporters and importers, the group added.

DNeX is also involved in developing the Malaysia Maritime Single Window (MMSW) and is working on an air manifest system to enhance air cargo documentation and oversight.

"The contract extension is a testament to the group’s strength and capabilities in delivering innovative and efficient trade facilitation solutions,” said DNeX executive chairman Tan Sri Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir Jamalullail in the statement.

“We remain committed to delivering eServices for trade facilitation that exceed our client’s expectations and empower businesses to optimise their operations and drive growth,” he added.

At the close of trade, DneX’s shares were up half a sen or 1.35% at 37.5 sen, valuing the group at RM1.3 billion.
