KKB Engineering Bags Two Contracts Worth RM89m

KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 16): KKB Engineering Bhd (KL:KKB) said its subsidiary KKB Industries (Sabah) Sdn Bhd has won two contract orders worth a combined value of RM89 million.

KKB Engineering said one of the awards is related to PETROSNiaga Sdn Bhd (PNSB) for the supply and delivery of new liquefied petroleum gas cylinders.

Meanwhile, the other contract is related to Gamuda Bhd’s (KL:GAMUDA) award for the manufacture, supply, delivery and unloading of mild steel concrete lined pipes and specials in Sabah.

“The completion period for [the] PNSB contract is for three years and the completion date for the Gamuda contract is scheduled to be within the second quarter of 2026,” KKB Engineering said in the bourse filing.

Risk factors affecting the two contracts include execution risks such as availability of skilled manpower and materials, forex and changes in pricing, weather conditions and/or political, economic and regulatory conditions, it added.

Shares of KKB Engineering closed one sen or 0.7% lower at RM1.54, giving it a market capitalisation of RM444.64 million. Year to date, the stock has gained 4.8%.
