CK>> As we know, KrisAssets shareholders will be entitled to receive distribution-in-specie in term of IGB REIT new share units. If you are holding 1000 units of KrisAssets shares, you are entitled to receive 5240 units of IGB REIT.

That means you do not need to go through the IPO process, apply IPO and then hope & pray to be succeed in balloting. You are 100% guarantee to receive IGB REIT if you are holding KrisAsset shares before the entitlement Ex-date. It sounds like a good deal.

But the question here is>> When can I receive my distributed IGB REIT units? Based on the indicative timetable, the distribution-in-specie seems like not immediate. It may take up to 2-3 weeks time. If IGB REIT IPO listed on mid-August-2012, shareholders of KrisAssets can only received their distributed IGB REIT units on early-September-2012.

Since we now know IGB REIT will be listed on 19-September-2012, that means shareholders of KrisAssets are estimated to receive their entitled IGB REIT units at early-October-2012.

What would happen to the share price os IGB REIT at 2-3 weeks later after listed? Who knows? Only heaven knows~

So, applying IPO later or buying KrisAssets in the market now? Evaluate yourself the pro and con of each methods based on your risk appetite because making any investment...

I am presently a hare at yesterday's price of RM9.18shareholder of KrisAsset. If I sell of my share at yesterday's price of RM9.18 I will receive almost RM9180 BUT if I wait my entitlement of 5240 units of REITS (RM1.25 per unit) and cash of RM2,430 I will only get a proceed, when I sell, of RM8,980 ie RM200 less. Isn't it better to sell of my KrisAsset shares now? Can someone advise me? - CYK
