4 July 2018 - So called MO1, or suspected Ex Prime Minister Najib Razak was charges this morning for alledged criminal wrongdoing, or self-gratification by abusing his power and position in control of government linked funds.

Market speculated the high profile RM4.2 billion-RM5.3billion JKR contract looter, which is notably Najib Razak’s close political ally and Najib’s PPA1M business sponsor, the Protasco bhd’s own MO1 (Dato Sri Chong Ket Pen) [*A], now becomes the target of netizen to hunt down his whereabout.

The high profile publicity on potential RM4.2 billion JKR corrupted contract was awarded to Protasco Bhd on 4 April 2018, after the company delivered a loss making quarter on 31 March 2018 with missing RM66 million cash in company bank account compared year to year quarter. Protasco Bhd was one of the 3 public listed companies which publicly shown support to former Prime Minister Najib Razak pre-GE-14. Besides AirAsia and Supermax, Protasco Bhd stands out among the 3 on 5th May 2018 as main “sponsor” lead by Protasco Bhd Chairman Hadenan Abdul Jalil, pulled in by Najib’s Ali Hamza, and “reluctantly” minted PDRM chief IGP Tan Sri Fuzi on stage in “pro-Barisan Nasional PPA1M” election campaign to praise Najib’s success.

"SRC International key executive turns witness which speed up the asset freezing and prosecution on Najib’s potential corruption shows the ignorance and over confidence of the former government. Same situation happens in the potential corruption, power abuse and self-gratification in government contract linked companies, such as Protasco Bhd with main person (MO1) living in denial and self-justification of illgotten money for himself. Chong Ket Pen pride himself that corruption and self-gratification are OK, and his nominee chairman Hadenan Abdul Jalil who cover up his wrongdoings, and the staff who suspected handed over “bags” of graft such as Managing Director Dato Sri Muzaffar Syah bin Abd Rahman, and directors in the know such as Dato Mohd Hanif bin Sher Mohamed [*1] might rush for the limited window of opportunity under SPRM witness protection, following SRC’s Suboh Md Yassin’s move. Until the relevant authorities are at his door step, the suspects may not flee the country even if probe deepen. Authorities might need to move faster before they know what is coming”, commented senior law enforcer.

As the Pakatan Harapan’s manifesto to review and replace of all government-linked companies’ illgotten contracts and top management, Protasco Bhd stands out as top contract looter. JKR is among the top 10 ministry[*2] which gave out contracts with potential unrealistic margin mark up siphoned to "interest parties". Ministry of Works was quoted to have spent RM5.8 billion in year 2017 alone, and bezarre 45% contract margin where 10% contract value “down payment” to politically linked consultant was quoted as “the norm and normal” fees. The on-going contract would also allocate 10% more fees to the “interest parties” who obtained the award of contract for the ally who “carries the bags” through network of “contractors” tied to former government officers. Who are these people?[*3]

In other words, potential graft and corruption might have took place linking the missing profit margin and cash in Protasco Bhd, to the award of billion Ringgit contract as well as election campaign to celebrate and thank Najib Razak for his government’s kindness.

With the fall of wide spread “common norms” in Najib Razak’s former government, SRC International’s fall is just the begining. Protasco bhd’s “self-admitted” RM5.3 billion Ringgit JKR money ring which is “scheduled to be siphoned” could be the next high profile target among other government linked contract looters who slept with Najib Rzak’s ex government.

On the other hand, the potential illgotten control and money of Protasco Bhd, which enabled the Protasco Bhd MO1 to abuse his power in order to enrich himself caught EPF attention. During 30 May 2018 AGM, potentially EPF had voted against unrealistic director fees. 31,456,556 shares voted against the resolution, however, EPF have no access to curb the main looter, the RM2.5 million salaried “civil servant” Chong Ket Pen, his sons, and his executives. Until higher authorities step in and probe on this former government corruption factory, EPF and public shareholders can only watch the heist and robbery in distance.

Many “ex government interested parties” rush to Tun Mahathir and used Pakatan Harapan’s Tabung Harapan as alibi and excuse to meet PH leaders in hope to cover up their potential wrongdoings and illgotten wealth. Could Chong Ket Pen’s RM500,000 “tips” cover up hIs RM5.3 billion JKR contract monopoly and Najib’s ex-government looting cartel?

Perhaps AG Thommy Thomas could answer the question after he is done with Najib Razak today.
