Folks have been glued to their cellphones during the coronavirus pandemic perhaps more than ever.

Whether it be calls, video calls, texts or social media, they have been our way to stay connected while shutdown and socially distancing.

And, for the iPhone lovers out there, Apple may have a new model on the way that you’ll want to take a look at. According to a Business Insider report, the iPhone 12 could hit the market “later this year”.

And the new iPhone will be a “mini”, coming in a new, 5.4in size, that is smaller than the current 5.8in iPhone 11 Pro.

And it’s going to have a lot of bells and whistles. According to the report, that will include “two cameras, a faster processor and 5G connectivity”.

That might not be the only offering from Apple, though. Business Insider said it’s rumoured the “mini” will be one of four phones released by the company this fall.

And there’s some good news as far as the costs are concerned.

Business Insider says the “mini” could come with a cheaper price tag than the 11 Pro. The bad news? It’s still expected to come in at around US$650 .
