A mother took to Twitter to share how her six-year-old twin daughters almost got away with ordering close to US$800 worth of juices, sweets and savoury snacks on her Instacart account.

Jessica Aiwuyor’s twin daughters, Efosa and Esosa, almost placed an Instacart order with a subtotal of US$757.57 , according to Today.

Aiwuyor’s daughters weren’t able to figure out the last steps to complete the purchase, Aiwuyor, who lives in Washington, D.C., according to her work bio, said in a Feb 20 tweet.

Although the twin’s Instacart order was filled with Lay’s chips, Doritos and popcorn, among other snacks, over US$300 went towards 35 cases of Capri Sun, according to photos of the would-be order shared by Aiwuyor.

They also tried to indulge in a gallon of lemonade, four packs of Lunchables, apple juice and Oreos, according to Aiwuyor’s Twitter thread.

Instacart replied to the family’s adorable but almost very expensive situation by saying, “Let’s make this wishlist a reality. Check your DM’s!”

Instacart sent the sisters two of everything they ordered, Aiwuyor told Today. Unfortunately, the kids did not get the full 35 cases of Capri Sun.

A user on Twitter jokingly replied to the thread hoping to get in on a bit of Instacart’s generosity.

Sadly for the user, Instacart said “We looked in the snack aisle for a truck but didn’t see any. Best of luck with this manifestation!”
