HSI Futures

The S&P 500 and the Dow closed with slight losses on Monday after briefly touching intraday records, but strength in semiconductors boosted the Nasdaq.

Hong Kong shares finished lower on Monday as investors took profits following solid gains last week. Market was meeting resistance as the HSI neared its 50-day moving average of around 23,982. Adding to bearish sentiment were factory and service sector surveys which suggested China's economy lost further momentum heading into the fourth quarter as a property slowdown intensified and export demand softened.

Plan A : Above 24098, do nothing

Plan B : Below 23818, do nothing

Plan C : Consider intraday selling if market fails to break above 24098 and retrace

Plan D : Cut above 24230

Plan E : Attempt buying if market holds firm above 23818 and triggers a buy again

Plan F : Cut below 23752

FKLI

Market slipped 3 points to close at 1855 yesterday after failing to break above 1865.5. Weak RM will likely put a temporary pause to market surge. Buyers might want to consider taking profits on its recent strong gains.

Plan A : Attempt selling if market fails to hold above 1852.5

Plan B : Cut above 1858

Plan C : Consider buying only if market corrects and holds firm above 1840.5

Plan D : Cut below 1839

FCPO

FCPO touched an intraday high of 2345 amid last minute short covering before settling at 2336. Market could have hit a temporary peak for now after surging all the way from recent low of 2104. There will be a good chance of profit taking selling today as long as market stays below 2340 level.

Plan A : Attempt selling between 2330-2336

Plan B : Cut above 2350

Plan C : Consider buying if market were to retrace but holds firmly above 2295

Plan D : Cut below 2283
