I wrote before about Vivocom.

Two important events from the past months:

  • On November 2, 2015 Instacom (Vivocom's previous name) appointed Yeoh (founder of Vivocom Enterprise Sdn Bhd) as joint-CEO (red line in the above graph)
  • On November 18, 2015 CIMB Research published a 26-page very bullish report about Vivocom ("Unleashing the Giant"), and fixed it's target price at RM 0.72 (green line)

The jump in share price and volume around those 2 days is very noticeable.

The Edge Malaysia published on June 27, 2016 several articles about Vivocom, one of which hinted at the possible stepping down of Yeoh.

The company however announced: ".... the Board of Directors have not to date received any official letter of resignation nor unofficial notification from Dato’ Seri Dr. Yeoh Seong Mok on his purported intention to resign or retire".

Vivocom has gone through many transitions, will it be this time successful?

Huge volume traded everyday, but price doesn't seem to go anywhere. What really is happening?

Now, there are 3 main issues tht are clouding vivocom's prospect. First is the vacant CEO position and Dr yeoh chose to take a back seat for unknown reasons. No need to bash me on this because this is really suspicious after just 8 Mo ths as CEO.

Secondly, it's the quarter result which is seasonally weaker or weakest among all construction companies here. So I don't even wanna hear myview or ktsk88 because those are speculation not backed by good reasoning.

Thirdly, either private placement PP is to take place before q2 result or after it. Don't know how much money is to be raised but I can give an estimation tomorrow. This will no doubt dilute it's EPS and erode shareholders' values further.

These 3 main issues will have downward pressure on vivocom's share pricing. They have mentioned abt it's latest awarded job will improve its NTA so it means payments of works done will be on contra basis. Clients pay contractor with shoplots or condo.
