Headlines across the planet screamed that Crazy Kim had given the world its first glimpse of his new long-range missile.

But the dumpy dictator may have been fooling us all along.

Media across the world reported that so-called ICBMs featured in the military display in North Korea’s capital Pyongyang yesterday.

One over-enthusiastic British news website even reported – with absolutely no evidence – that Kim had been testing his new toy with a failed missile launch this morning.

US Pacific Command later said with ”high degree of confidence" the test-fired rocket wasn't an ICBM.
