But were North Korea’s new “intercontinental ballistic missiles” fake?

The press went into overdrive after the Hermit Kingdom showed off an unfamiliar and suspiciously long set of rockets in the  yesterday.

Headlines across the planet screamed that Crazy Kim had given the world its .

But the dumpy dictator may have been fooling us all along.

Media across the world reported that so-called ICBMs featured in the military display in North Korea’s capital Pyongyang yesterday.

One over-enthusiastic British news website even reported – with absolutely no evidence – that Kim had been testing his new toy with a  this morning.

US Pacific Command later said with ”high degree of confidence" the test-fired rocket wasn't an ICBM.
