MOSCOW, July 25 -- Russia's international reserves grew by 10 billion U.S. dollars or 1.7 percent in the period from July 12 to July 19 over the previous week, reaching 611.3 billion U.S. dollars, their highest since March 2022, according to the Russian Central Bank on Thursday.

The central bank said in a statement that Russia's international reserves stood at 611.3 billion U.S. dollars by July 19, marking a 10 billion U.S. dollar or 1.7 percent rise over the previous week, driven mainly by positive revaluation.

This is their highest level since March 11, 2022. Back then, Russia's gold and foreign exchange assets totaled 611.8 billion U.S. dollars, according to data provided by the bank.
