PUTRAJAYA, May 22 ― Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak left the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters at 3.10pm today, after spending five hours being questioned about SRC International Sdn Bhd.

Najib looked worn out and did not smile to the media when he exited the MACC building, a stark contrast to how he looked like before being questioned hours ago.

Earlier, new MACC chief Mohd Shukri Abdull said Najib is just here for his statement to be recorded as part of normal investigations and won’t be arrested or charged today.

It is unclear at this point how long MACC investigations will require Najibs presence, however it is learnt he will be returning back and forth for the next few days.

Najib was dressed in light blue shirt complimented with a dark blue suit and posed for photographers at the lobby for few moments in the morning.

He arrived in a white Toyota Vellfire accompanied by a four-car convoy and two police outriders. He left with the same convoy.

Seen with him were his six men team lawyers and four bodyguards who entered and exited together with him.
