Dr M: No one has clear majority, King leaves matter to Parliament on March 2
5.30pm Prime Minister's Department, Putrajaya - Dr Mahathir Mohamad says the King has found no one "with a distinct majority".
"And because there is no distinct majority, he (the King) says the right forum is the Dewan Rakyat.
"So Parliament will be called on the 2nd of next month... whoever has majority support in Parliament will become prime minister.
"However if the Dewan Rakyat fails to find a person with a majority, we will have to go for a snap election," he says.

Or let Mahathir form unity government where only the pure and beautiful can be elected as cabinet ministers! I prefer Syed Saddiq as DPM due to his mature character! Wan Azizah to hold mother minister and Anwar as papa minister!

Mahathir is the one that started this right from the beginning. He basically doesn't want to share power. He has no interest in cleaning the government. He just want to see Najib in jail. If he really wants to clean up the government, he would go after Muhiyiddin, Taib and Shapie Apdal. All these guys are corrupted to the bones.

I am very sure Anwar Ibrahim has the most nominations during the interview with Agong. Muhyiddin's name was not mentioned at all. As for Dr Mahathir, his votes should be lower than Anwar.

The PM should be announced in the palace. Then the winner will call a special parliament sitting or wait till it convenes. Then a vote of confidence will be moved to determine his validity. If the winner fails to get the votes required, he shall then proceed to call for a snap election after an audience with the Agong again.
