KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 5): The foreign shareholding in Bursa Malaysia Bhd slumped the most on record since 2016 to its lowest at 7.8% in September 2022, from 13.6% in August 2022, representing a 5.8-percentage-point month-on-month drop, according to the latest update on the local bourse regulator and operator's website.

Prior to this, the lowest foreign shareholding on record was the 13.6% level in August 2022, Bursa said.
