KOTA KINABALU: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim began his work visit with a closed meeting with Sabah PKR leaders at a hotel here.
Anwar, who is also PKR president, is expected to discuss the state party leadership turmoil.
Last month, 15 out of 26 division chiefs had demanded incumbent state PKR chief Datuk Sangkar Rasam to step down.
After that, Anwar is expected to meet Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor at Menara Kinabalu.
He is also expected to pay his last respects to late PBRS founder Tan Sri Joseph Kurup at Fook Lu Siew.
By 12pm, the Prime Minister is expected to head to the Sabah International Convention Centre here for the state Aidilfitri celebrations.
