HULU SELANGOR: The multi-cornered fight for the Kuala Kubu Baharu state seat will not change Pakatan Harapan's electoral strategy, says Gobind Singh Deo.

"As far as we are concerned, our candidate will also address the local issues here in the Kuala Kubu Baharu seat and do her best to solve the problems for the local people. So I think that is not a problem," the DAP deputy chairman said after receiving the DAP Jalan Kemboja Branch membership from its chairman, Muhammad Dzulfiqri Md Daud.

DAP officially established its third all-Malay member branch in Hulu Selangor on Sunday (April 28).

The members, all of whom are Malay, are youths aged from 21 to 30 years.

The other two branches are Jalan Ara Batang Kali and Jalan Bunga Kertas, each with 51 members.

Pakatan's Pang Sock Tao is in a four-way contest for the Kuala Kubu Baharu state seat. She is facing off against Perikatan Nasional's Khairul Azhari Saut, Parti Rakyat Malaysia's Hafizah Zainudin and Independent candidate Nyau Ke Xin.

The polls are set for May 11.
