KUALA LUMPUR: There have been no discussions yet on whether more injured Palestinians will be brought to be treated in Malaysia, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The Prime Minister said Malaysia will continue discussions to bring those who were injured in the genocide to Malaysia if there is a necessity.

He said the priority now is to treat those who were already in the country.

"So far there are no discussions (to bring back injured Palestinians). The first phase is for us to treat them. We will only send them back once the situation improves.

"We will negotiate with Egypt, who are aiding the Palestinians, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, and Qatar.

"If there is a necessity, we will discuss it. So far it is still too early (to discuss), he said to reporters at the sidelines of the nationwide mosque muktamar for Al-Aqsa and Palestine.
