IN the deemed maiden legal suit between component parties in the Madani government, DAP vice-chairman Teresa Kok is certainly not standing on ceremony when she resorted to teaching delinquent UMNO Youth chief Datuk Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh a what could well be a costly lesson for indecency.
The price tag as per the letter of demand sent by counsel Sankara Nair and Partners on behalf of the six-term Seputeh MP - as sighted by Malaysiakini - is RM25 mil.
“We await your response without delay,” read the letter of demand which comes with Kok demanding the Merlimau state assemblyman to bear for all legal costs and expenses that arise with the suit.
“If our client does not receive any satisfactory response from you within seven working days from the date of receipt of this notice, our instructions are to initiate legal action with no further reference to you,”
“OK Nyonya (note that the word tua/old has been omitted). We meet in court. No fear no surrender,” the Russia-trained medical doctor penned on his Facebook page in response to Kok’s legal suit.
After his own party not only failed to discipline him at the height of the KK Super Mart sock-gate saga in March this year - but instead backed him for his rightist stance - has DAP which has been criticised one time too many for kowtowing to the whims and fancies of UMNO regained its lost stripes or fangs which the party often displayed during its opposition days?
In the pursuit to defend her reputation and honour, Kok has demanded Akmal to immediately and unequivocally retract his remarks, publish an unconditional and irrevocable apology in a manner and medium to be decided by the senior DAP lawmaker and her lawyers, and make a written undertaking to not repeat any further allegations or comments in the likes of the impugned slanderous/libellous words.

A Russia trained and most likely half past six medical doctor can earned RM1 million every year?
Or is he selling his backside to earn a million?

Did medical school in Russia provide training like GISHB for him to sell his backside? Or could the rumour that he grew up in one of those caretaker houses be true?
