U.S. equities ended on a higher note as traders and investors speculated that the Fed may slow down the pace of increasing the interest rates on the back of weaker-than-expected August ISM services, coupled with the softer labour conditions.

The FBM KLCI extended its short term rally above 1,680 led by foreign buying interest. Upside target may be located around 1,700.

Crude Palm Oil: RM2,629 (-RM15, -0.57%)
Crude palm oil fell on the back of profit taking activties. Price should be able to rally towards the target of RM2,700 after a short term consolidation.

WTI Crude Oil: $44.83 (+$0.40, +0.90%)
Crude oil price inched up marginally higher by US$0.40 after reversing from an intra-day high of US$46.53 as traders continue to speculate on the OPEC freeze talk.

Gold: $1,350.00 (+$23.04, +1.74%)
Gold trended positively towards the US$1,350 level, marking the third consecutive day of gains as traders priced in a lower chance for the interest rates hike in the upcoming FOMC meeting.
