U.S. equities trended lower for another session ahead of the U.S. presidential election next week, coupled with weaker crude oil prices. Meanwhile, the Fed kept the interest rates unchanged.

The FBM KLCI has ended below the 1,660 level, in tandem with the negative sentiments from Wall Street. The FBM KLCI may see further selling pressure towards 1,645.

Crude Palm Oil: RM2,758 (+RM26, +0.95%)
Crude palm oil rebounded on the back of short coverings as traders found immediate support near the RM2,700 level. 

WTI Crude Oil: $45.34 (-$1.30, -2.81%)
Crude oil plunged below the US$46 level as crude inventories increased 14.4 mln barrels last week, according to Energy Information Administration.

Gold: $1,296.81 (+$9.31, +0.72%)
Gold continues to be viewed as safe haven asset under the uncertain market environment. Gold's upside will be set around the US$1,300 level.
