U.S. stockmarkets edged higher overnight on gains in financial shares coupled with speculation on expansion of monetary policy easing by the European Central Bank. The Dow added 0.2% to close at a fresh record high.

FBM KLCI: 1,629.73 pts (+4.76pts, +0.29%)
The FBM KLCI rebounded as the key index was traded mostly in the positive territory throughout the entire trading session. The immediate resistance level is located around the 1,630-1,640 levels.

Crude Palm Oil: RM3,183 (+RM48, +1.53%)
Tracking the positive momentum in soybean oil prices, crude palm oil extended its gains yesterday. The RM3,200 level will serve as the next resistance level.

WTI Crude Oil: $50.93 (-$0.89, -1.72%)
Crude oil prices halted a three-straight sessions of gains of profit taking activities. Crude oil prices might trend towards the US$55-US$60 levels.

Gold: $1,169.85 (-$0.53, -0.05%)
Gold prices edged marginally lower as investors’ interest were shifted towards higher-yield asset classes. The US$1,150 level will serve as the immediate support level.
