U.S. stockmarkets advanced on last Friday as the Dow gained 0.3% on gains in technology stocks, whilst unemployment rate in December 2016 held steady at 4.7%.

FBM KLCI: 1,675.49 pts (+15.67pts, +0.94%)
The firmer Ringgit against the US Dollars coupled higher crude oil prices sent the FBM KLCI higher for the third straight session as the key index record its biggest weekly gain (+2.1% W.o.W). The next resistance level is located around the 1,700 level.

Crude Palm Oil: RM3,075 (-RM21, -0.68%)
Crude palm oil prices fell to two-week low on stronger Ringgit. The RM3,200 level will serve as the immediate resistance level.

WTI Crude Oil: $53.99 (+$0.23, +0.43%)
Crude oil prices extended their gains after Mexico oil export port was shut down due to unfavourable weather. Crude oil prices might trend towards the US$55-US$60 levels.

Gold: $1,172.63 (-$7.49, -0.64%)
Gold prices snapped a streak of three consecutive sessions of gains on higher appetite in riskier assets. The US1,100 will serve as the immediate support level.
