U.S. stockmarkets retreated overnight as the Dow slipped 0.4%, dragged down by the renewed weakness in crude oil prices after US oil rigs rose.

FBM KLCI: 1,667.90 pts (-7.59pts, -0.45%)
The FBM KLCI halted a streak of three days gains yesterday on profit taking in telco heavyweights. The next resistance level is located around the 1,700 level.

Crude Palm Oil: RM3,112 (+RM37, +1.20%)
Crude palm oil prices rebounded taking cue from the gains in soybean oil prices whilst a potential tighter supply. The RM3,200 level will serve as the immediate resistance level.

WTI Crude Oil: $51.96 (-$2.03, -3.75%)
Crude oil prices erased all its previous three session gains on concern record Iraqi export and rising US output could undermine OPEC's efforts to curb the oversupply condition. Crude oil prices might trend towards the US$55-US$60 levels.

Gold: $1,181.10 (+$8.47, +0.72%)
Gold prices rebounded on increasing demand for safe haven assets. The US1,200 will serve as the immediate resistance level.
