U.S. stockmarkets closed mixed overnight as the Dow (+0.2%) rose to another fresh record closing after advancing for the ninth consecutive session. On the broader market, the S&P 500 slipped 0.1% after the US Federal Reserve signals a potential rate hike in March.  The 21,000 will serve as the immediate resistance level for the Dow.

Tracking the gains in Wall Street overnight, the FBM KLCI (+0.1%) advanced after enduring a choppy trading session. The immediate support level is located around the 1,700 level.

Crude Palm Oil: RM2,809 (+RM26, +0.93%)
Crude palm oil prices halted a four consecutive session of decline, rebounded from a three-months low. The RM2,700 level will serve as the next support level.

WTI Crude Oil: $53.59 (-$0.47, -0.88%)
Crude oil prices retreated after US weekly stockpiles reported to be little changed. Crude oil prices might trend between the US$50-US$55 levels.

Gold: $1,237.44 (+$1.70, +0.14%)
Gold prices closed marginally higher after the US Fed officials signals to raise interest rates gradually. The US1,250 will serve as the immediate resistance level.
