There were little movements on U.S. stocks as market players await for more details on the proposed income tax cuts, leaving the Dow and S&P 500 to drift before ending the day with minute gains. Support is located around the 20,857 zone.

The FBM KLCI (-0.1%) went into a consolidation mode yesterday, after its recent runup was beginning to look tired. Still, the consolidation was mild as there were pockets of support on some of the index heavyweights. Support will be pegged around 1758.

Crude Palm Oil: RM2,506 (-RM8, -0.32%)
Crude palm oil prices ended lower, pulled back by last minute selling pressure. Prices are expected to trend between RM2450 to RM2600.

WTI Crude Oil: $48.97 (-$0.65, -1.32%)
Crude oil closed in red on Thursday, despite rebounding from intraday low, dragged down by sluggish gasoline demand and lingering worries of the burgeoning crude stockpiles, following the restart of two key Libyan oilfields. 

Gold: $1,264.30 (-$4.92, -0.39%)
Gold prices declined, driven mainly by a stronger Dollar and recovery in global economies. Prices are expected to be range bound between US$1260 to US$1294.
