U.S. stockmarkets chalked out minor gains on Tuesday, albeit still closing near record highs ahead of the highly anticipated quarterly results of giant phone-maker Apple. Resistance will be pegged around 21,000.

FBM KLCI: 1,778.47 pts (+10.41pts, +0.59%)
The FBM KLCI (+0.6%) extended its gains for the second consecutive session, spurred by the positive sentiment in the regional backdrop and gains in the U.S. stockmarkets overnight.  Near-term resistance is fixed at 1780.

Crude Palm Oil: RM2,548 (+RM40, +1.59%)
Crude palm oil prices rallied, amid rise in Malaysian crude palm oil exports led by higher seasonal demands. Prices are expected to trend between RM2450 to RM2600.

WTI Crude Oil: $47.66 (-$1.22, -2.52%)
Crude oil prices fell on extended selling, although losses were capped, on the back of a larger-than-expected draw in U.S. crude oil inventory. Near-term support will be envisaged at US$47.

Gold: $1,256.76 (+$0.37, +0.03%)
Gold prices broked its technical support, albeit still closing with minor gains, as demand for the safe-haven asset dwindle. Next support is targeted around US$1250.
