FBM KLCI: 1,578.89 pts (-18.74pts, -1.17%)

Despite the BNM kept the OPR unchanged, the FBM KLCI (-1.2%) retreated in line with the weak regional performances; only 5 out of 30 constituents closing in the green. Market breadth remained negative as the losers hammered the gainers by 747-to-338 stocks. All the 13 sub-indices finished in the negative territory with the healthcare sector (-2.2%) being the strongest declining sector, led by HARTA (-26.0 sen), TOPGLOV (-18.0 sen), and SUPERMX (-13.0 sen).
