The FBM KLCI (+0.2%) continued to stay on an upbeat note in tandem with the regional peers following Wall Street’s rally. Market breadth remained positive as the gainers trounced the losers by 610-to-452 stocks. The energy sector (+3.3%) led the broader market higher, with SERBADK (+3.5 sen), HIBISCS (+6.0 sen), and ARMADA (+2.0 sen) being the some fo the few leaders in the sector. Meanwhile, the technology sector (-0.8%) was the only sector closing in the negative territory.
