FBM KLCI: 1,564.29 pts (+14.12pts, +0.91%)

The FBM KLCI (+0.9%) marked its third winning session, propelled by the gains in financial services heavyweights that outweighed the losses in healthcare stocks. Market breadth, however, turned negative as the losers outbeat the gainers by 639-to-357 stocks. The technology sector (-2.78%) tumbled, dragged by GREATEC (-33.0 sen), INARI (-11.0 sen), and VITROX (-82.0 sen), while the healthcare sector (-1.89%) succumbed to quick profit taking activities. Meanwhile,  the financial services sector (+1.96%) was the biggest winner.
