The FBM KLCI (+0.5%) snapped the seven-session losses and rebounded, bucking the overnight decline on Wall Street as bargain hunting activities appeared on the local bourse. Market breadth turned positive as the gainers overwhelmed the losers by 618-to-254 stocks. The technology sector (+2.41%) outperformed the positive broader market, boosted by GREATEC (+33.0 sen), D&O (+28.0 sen), and DNEX (+8.5 sen), while the plantation sector (-0.50%) was the sole declining sector.
