The FBM KLCI (+1.4%) showcased one of its best year-to-date performances after lingering largely in the positive territory today, driven by the broad based rally. Market breadth turned positive as the advancers outpaced the decliners by 579-to-412 stocks. The financial services sector (+1.8%) outperformed on the mostly positive market sentiment, led by gains from HLFG (+32.0 sen), HLBANK (+26.0 sen) and CIMB (+16.0 sen) as recovery-led stocks took the driver seat.
