The FBM KLCI (+0.2%) recorded its sixth consecutive winning streak on a choppy trading session; the positive performance was in tandem with the gains registered across regional peers today. Market breadth was neck to neck between the advancers and the decliners at 464 stocks each. The broader market was mostly higher, driven by the technology sector (+1.4%) that was lifted by gains from from MPI (+RM1.16), DNEX (+14.0 sen) and INARI (+7.0 sen) as bargain hunting activities emerged. Meanwhile, the energy sector (-1.4%) underperformed on the back of the pullback on crude oil prices overnight.
