FBM KLCI: 1,608.28 pts (+16.56pts, +1.04%)

The FBM KLCI (+1.0%) extended its gains from last week along with regional peers, mainly lifted by gains in PBBANK (+8.0 sen), PCHEM (+26.0 sen), and TENAGA (+17.0 sen) despite the ongoing concerns on the geopolitical tension between Ukraine and Russia. Market breadth, however, turned negative as the decliners outpaced the advancers by 635-to-413 stocks. The broader market finished mixed, with the plantation sector (+2.68%) soared in tandem with the firm CPO price, led by SIMEPLT (+13.0 sen), KLK (+52.0 sen), and FGV (+9.0 sen).
