FBM KLCI: 1,590.88 pts (+19.56pts, +1.24%)

The FBM KLCI (+1.24%) further rebounded as the regional sentiment improved amid fading concerns over Russia-Ukraine situation as well as brushing off the hawkish tone from the FOMC meeting, at least for the near term. Market breadth remained positive as the gainers overruled the losers by 756-to-296 stocks. The technology sector (+4.75%) continued to soar, riding on the overnight rallies in Nasdaq, led by MPI (+364.0 sen), VITROX (+75.0 sen), and INARI (+18.0 sen). Meanwhile, the plantation sector (-1.43%) was the sole declining sector, bucking the positive trend in the broader market.
