The FBM KLCI (-0.42%) extended losses amid lacklustre trading as investors were in a risk-off mode following the overnight decline on Wall Street. Market breadth remained negative as the losers led the gainers by 487-to-310 stocks. All the 13 major sectorial indices were painted in the red, with the plantation sector (-1.30%) being hit the most; SIMEPLT (-23.0 sen), IOICORP (-4.0 sen), and UTDPLT (-16.0 sen) are some of the laggards.
