The FBM KLCI (-0.78%) went further in the negative territory during the second trading session as banking heavyweights extended declines ahead of the long weekend break. Market breadth, however was positive as the winners led the losers by 494-to-366 stocks. The technology sector (+1.65%) topped the broader market, powered by MPI (110.0 sen), FRONTKN (+12.0 sen), and UNISEM (+11.0 sen), followed by the energy sector (+1.39%) that recovered some of its losses yesterday.
