FBM KLCI: 1,499.39 pts (+1.84pts, +0.12%)

The FBM KLCI (+0.1%) nudged higher in the eleventh trading hour, lifted by gains in selected banking heavyweights but the key index still finished marginally below 1,500. Market breadth was fairly even as the advancers was on level with the decliners on 478-to-472 stocks. Meanwhile, the energy sector (+1.4%) retained its position as the biggest winner amongst the mostly positive sectorial peers, anchored by gains from DAYANG (+5.0 sen), ARMADA (+3.0 sen), and PERDANA (+2.5 sen).
