FBM KLCI: 1,396.60 pts (-3.10pts, -0.22%)

The FBM KLCI (-0.22%) slid below the key 1,400 level again amid renewed uncertainties in the US and Europe banking sectors after Deutsche Bank sparked a rout in the sector last week. Market breadth remained negative as the decliners trounced the advancers by 576-to-279 stocks. The broader market traded in a negative-biased tone with the energy sector (-1.24%) losing the most, pressured by WASEONG (-4.5 sen), DAYANG (-3.0 sen), and MHB (-2.0 sen).
