FBM KLCI: 1,459.43 pts (+9.08pts, +0.63%)

The FBMKLCI (+0.63%) rebounded after a day of pullback as buying interest continued on the Bursa Exchange amid the month end rebalancing activites; more than two-thirds of the index heavyweights were traded higher. Market breadth was positive with gainers led losers by a ratio of 11-to-8. On the broader market, most of the sub-sectors were gaining traction but the construction (-1.44%) sector ended lower led by GAMUDA (-13.0 sen) as the New South Wales premier Chris Minns said he was considering cancelling the project after the cost estimate had blown out to A$25bn from an initial estimate of A$16bn.
