With the start of the window-dressing period, the FBMKLCI (+0.44%) closed higher, as Utilities and Industrial Products & Services stocks, namely TENAGA (+26.0 sen) and PCHEM (+10.0 sen), buoyed sentiment on the local bourse. The market breadth was positive, with 727 gainers versus 381 losers. Among the gainers, export-oriented stocks, primarily from the Technology (+2.63%) and Healthcare (+2.15%) sectors, led the way after stronger-than-anticipated U.S. jobs data fuelled expectations of a stronger dollar.
