Uzma Bhd, has secured a RM350m contract from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd to provide well testing equipment and services for Petroliam Nasional Bhd¡¯s (Petronas) drilling projects. In a statement yesterday, Uzma said its unit Uzma Engineering Sdn Bhd has won the contract for a period of five years effective from 1 Apr 2012 to 31 Mar 2017. The contract is expected to contribute positively to its earnings and net assets for FY12 ending 31 Dec 2012 onwards. This is the third contract that Uzma has received from Petronas since last year.
