Ms. Low Min Lai began her career in 2002 as a Quantity Surveyor with Illusion Design Sdn. Bhd., where she worked until 2006. She then transitioned into a Sales (Property) role with Must Ehsan Development Sdn. Bhd. from August 2006 to March 2007. Afterwards, Ms. Low returned to a Quantity Surveyor position at Illusion Contract Sdn. Bhd. from April to October 2007. Thereafter, she moved into a Project Manager role with Mun Sand Media Sdn.
